Imke I got to know about ten years ago on the beach in Nerja. For a long time she was high from the rooms and bare walls in the villa circus, they lived with the circus, her children and two dogs, reports. What could be more natural than to bring my pictures there and to experience Imke together with their loved ones in one go in the Hamburg Zirkusmilleu?
After all instances of the circus company agreed to the first time to do an exhibition and show the bargain with non-circus-related images, the delivery of my work was no more obstacles. Our good VW bus has done a great job; 2500 km in two days from southern Spain to Austria in order to let the images and then another 1,000 km to Hamburg.
When hanging was soon evident that the resulting images are optimally inserted in Spain in the Hanseatic ambience, as if they had been made for this villa. Upon delivery of the paintings we were fortunate to be able to additionally clean feeling in the summer circus on Sylt, for the family happened to be on tour.
On the first of October it was time. To kick off the circus season could be the invited guests at the Circus Mignon look behind the scenes and accompanied by my pictures here. A guided tour of the house, the practice rooms, and not least the kitchen, where a sumptuous buffet enraptured us, was on the agenda.
The children were allowed while taking acting classes, talk shop with the lighting technicians, costume designers look at the over the shoulder, to practice acrobatics and have fun. When all were back in the dining room and before the youth group for the evening performance of "My way" invited the circus director Martin Kliewer informed about the many facets of the circus business.
Not everyone knew that the tent also, for example be awarded for weddings, the playful food tent can be booked together with catering team, culminating in a children's birthday by the children themselves represented idea, Sunday morning brunch is announced, apprenticeships are offered ... and that the "Circus Mignon" is so self-maintains and operates without public money. Hats off to Mr. circus, acrobatics is high!
